Iron Body 45-Day Kettlebell SHRED: 45-day Program to help you burn fat, get lean, and move better!

Program Summary:

For more advanced lifters, the Iron Body Shred is also the perfect program to follow if you are just coming off an intense block of strength programming and need something geared towards metabolic conditioning and strength endurance for a change.

The Iron Body Shred program is a 45-Day* program (*each level is 45-days/6-weeks) comprised of kettlebell swing metabolic conditioning paired with a strength movement. This program is geared towards shedding fat (fat loss) and increasing lean body mass (i.e. getting shredded hence the name, “Iron Body Shred” 😉 ). You will also build strength, and strength endurance.

Swing volume increases over the weeks and over Levels I-IV. Strength movements progress over Levels I-IV.

Over the course of the 4-day/week 6-week program, you start by completing 105 swings per day, 315 per week during Week One, and by Week Six you will progress to complete 250 swings per day and 750 per week.

The strength movements focus on TRX strength movements. The TRX will help you to build core stability and upper body strength so that you can progress to the strength movements that are programmed in Levels II and III of the Iron Body Shred.

Pre-Requisite: Iron Body Shred Level I

Level II is geared towards intermediate level kettlebell enthusiasts and coaches. e.g. those who are familiar with the two handed kettlebell swing and the complete, loaded, Turkish get-up. Over the course of the 4-day/week 6-week program, you start by completing 250 swings per day, 1060 per week during Week One, and by Week Six you will progress to complete 350 swings per day and 1,260 per week.

In addition, during Week One, you will immediately incorporate one hand swings along with the two hand swing training days, whereas the Iron Body Shred Level I focuses only on the two hand kettlebell swing.

Iron Body Shred Level II strength movements focus on single kettlebell movements so that you can progress to the double kettlebell strength movements that are programmed in Level III of the Iron Body Shred.

Pre-Requisite: Iron Body Shred Levels I and II

Level III is geared towards intermediate to advanced level kettlebell enthusiasts and coaches. e.g. those who are familiar with single kettlebell movements like the one hand swing, the single kettlebell clean, the single kettlebell press, and the complete, loaded, Turkish get-up. Over the course of the 5-day/week 6-week program, you will complete anywhere from 280 swings to 350 swings in a training session, with the exception of the active recovery Turkish get-up and light volume swing day, for a weekly total of 1,390 swings per week.

In addition, during week one, you will incorporate hand-to-hand swings, progress movements to work towards an unassisted pull-up and during Week Four, you will begin to work on double kettlebell movements, whereas the Iron Body Shred Level II focuses only on single kettlebell movements.

Iron Body Shred Level III strength movements begin to focus double kettlebell movements and increasing pull-up strength so that you can progress to all double kettlebell strength movements, more advanced pull-up movements, and more advanced Turkish get-up practice in Level IV of the Iron Body Shred.

The kettlebell press used to be my nemesis. But when I was training for the Iron Maiden Challenge a few years ago I vowed to turn my weakness (the press) into my strength. So I wrote myself a press program to do just that.

Attack The Bar Pull-up Program Level I – $74.99

The program builds both unassisted and weighted pull-up strength and incorporates essential core movements for building strength for unassisted and weighted pull-ups.
