The Standing Ab Wheel Rollout

The Standing Ab Wheel Rollout is a progression to the kneeling ab wheel rollout.

I shared an instructional Reel on Instagram about how to do it >> HERE <<.

If you have been doing the kneeling ab wheel rollout for a while, and you can do multiple sets of more than 10 reps and you feel like you are not getting anything out of it anymore, then it’s time to take it to standing!

When I progressed to the standing ab wheel rollout, I started with 3 sets of 3 reps and worked my way up to 5 sets of 3 reps.

Once I could do 5 sets of 3 reps, I added reps, e.g. sets of 5, then sets of 8, then sets of 10.

Now I do 5 sets of 12 -15 in my workouts.

It can be hard on your wrists at first, so it’s important to start with low reps like 3 sets of 3 reps and progress from there.

I’m releasing two new lifting programs this week: Iron Body Abs and Metabolic Muscle.

In Iron Body Abs, for each exercise, I give you both a beginner/intermediate option and an advanced option to meet you where you are at or so that you can progress.

For example:

  • V-Up (advanced) / Alternating Single Leg V-up (beginner/intermediate)
  • Supine Weighted Toe Reach (advanced) / Supine Toe Reach (beginner/intermediate)
  • High Plank to Pike (advanced) / High Plank to Low Plank Level Change  (beginner/intermediate)

If you want to get on the list to be the first to know when Iron Body Abs and Metabolic Muscle are released this week, sign up >> HERE <<.

I’ll be offering a special bundle deal when you bundle them for a limited time.
