3 M’s To Master Your Morning Routine
Your morning routine fuels the structure and productivity for the rest of your day. It sets the tone, context, and direction for the day that you live.
When you start your day with HISTORICALLY PROVEN practices that put you in a peak physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state first thing in the morning AND are proven to make you a better version of yourself, that sets a very empowering, positive, productive, and energized tone for the rest of your day.
THEREFORE, mastering your morning routine is the single most important thing that you can do for productivity and to achieve your goals.
Here are my top 3 M’s to help you to MASTER your morning routine so that you RULE YOUR DAY…
Meditate. Take 10 minutes, right after you wake up, before you do anything else, to meditate while your mind is clear.
Positive Affirmations & Morning Gratitude. Right after you meditate, write out positive affirmations that are relevant for you in that moment, PLUS 3 things that you are grateful for that morning.
Must List. Write out the top 3 things that you MUST accomplish that day to achieve your goals. This is not a 3 page “to do” list, this is a 3 item MUST LIST. Focus on the vital few vs. the trivial many.
Morning Walk. GET OUTSIDE BEFORE 10am and take a minimum 15 minute walk. The movement gets your heart pumping, your blood flowing, and helps to energize you for the day.
PLUS, getting outside in the daylight helps to boost melatonin production which helps you to sleep better at night.
When your eyes sense sunlight/daylight, this triggers melatonin production. The more melatonin you have, the better you sleep.
Exercise. In addition to your morning walk, exercise! I ALWAYS get a lift sesh in of a minimum of 1 hour.
In order to accomplish all of the above, and have a productive morning with a clear mind and positive vibes, you MUST,
Shut off all notifications and establish Screentime boundaries.
This means, not looking at your phone and/or laptop first thing in the morning and focusing on YOU for the first 30 minutes to 1 hour of your day.
With this, you will OWN your mornings and RULE your days!
