Why You Should Train The Single Leg Deadlift
On Monday I did my first two sets with double 22kg to warm up and then did sets 3, 4 and 5 with double 24kg (see video below…)
Single leg deadlifts carry strength over to many movements like lunges, Turkish get-ups, pistol squats and even bilateral (2-legged barbell or kettlebell) deadlifts. If you can single leg deadlift your bodyweight on one leg for reps, imagine how much you can deadlift with two legs for reps??
- Deadlift
- Two Hand Swing
- Turkish Get Up
- Goblet Squat
- Military Press
- One Hand Swing
- High Pull
