17 Habits Of Successful People

In the book “You Are A Badass At Making Money”, Jen Sincero lists the 17 most common habits of successful people:

  1. Take risks
  2. Stick to their decisions
  3. Set good boundaries
  4. Give back
  5. Work smart
  6. Go to the “Spiritual Gym” (e.g. read self-help books, exercise, meditate, journal, work with a mastermind group or coach, etc.)
  7. Delegate
  8. Constantly learn
  9. Stay disciplined
  10. Focus
  11. Practice patience
  12. Surround themselves with ass kickers!
  13. Talk about ideas, not other people
  14. Get back up instead of give up
  15. Show up on time
  16. Know what’s going on around them
  17. Know what’s going on with their money

I do all of these things, BUT, there are some that I am still working on doing better

SET GOOD BOUNDARIES. This year has been a GAME CHANGER for me in learning how to stick to my boundaries in order to manage my energy so that I can thrive in my business and in my personal life.

WORK SMART. This year I started to practice working smarter more often by delegating, designating specific days for certain tasks, completing tasks in time blocks within a day and being very picky about where I spend my energy.

GO TO THE ‘SPIRITUAL GYM”. I’m great at exercising daily, practicing healthy nutrition, and going for walks, BUT I needed to work on meditating, journaling, positive affirmations, and joining a mastermind with a high-level coach and a group of ladies who were all leagues ahead of me in their businesses.

Adding these items this year to my “Spiritual Gym” list has helped me to LEVEL UP in both business and in life!

PRACTICE PATIENCE. Incorporating daily meditation this year has helped me TREMENDOUSLY to practice patience.

DELEGATE. If you’re like me and you think that you always need to do EVERYTHING yourself, then this is a HUGE change to make.

This year I knew that if I wanted our business to grow to multiple 6-figures, I had to learn how to LET GO, hire a team, and delegate.

As soon as I did, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

Delegating helped me to have so much free time, and mental creative space to focus on the things that I TRULY love doing in my business – COACHING, TEACHING and CREATING!

SHOW UP ON TIME. Being on time is a HUGE challenge for me.

I underestimate how long EVERYTHING takes. Maybe it’s a Greek thing?? I always say I’m on Greek people time.

I’m working hard to get better at this and I’ve started to get better at managing my time and being on time.

My husband is an excellent role model in this area because this is one of his SUPER POWERS!

Out of the 17, how many do you do and which one(s) do you need to work on? Please share by responding to this email.

Many of these habits are part of the framework for our 2020 Energy Rebootwhere we will help you to:

  • make the lifestyle changes that you need to make in order to regulate your circadian rhythm and cortisol, (because these things can only be regulated through lifestyle changes and supplements like vitamins C and E at specific times of the day)
  • incorporate daily rituals into your life so that you set boundaries, get your energy and creativity back, and effectively manage your energy to avoid burnout.
  • Increase your productivity and spare time!

If you are an entrepreneur, business owner, and/or coach, I know that you struggle with giving everything to your clients and to your business and nothing to yourself.

While 2020 continues to deliver stress and surprises in all forms, we will help you to get back into a routine of taking care of YOU, so that you can start fresh in 2021.

This 30-day energy and ritual reboot program launches this month and starts on December 1.
