In July 2023, the author, aiming to eliminate lower belly fat, drastically cut calories and weighed 109.7 lbs. This resulted in muscle loss, including her backside. At 49, she decided to regain her shape by lifting heavy weights, and now averages 114 lbs, proudly reclaiming her curves and promoting strength over skinniness.
