Also, someone responded to my email from Sunday night and asked me what books I recommend reading for my morning routine of → “10 pages of a book that fills my mind with positive, abundant, and expansive thoughts”.

I responded to her on Sunday evening, but I thought that it would be helpful to share my recommendations with you as well…

NOW, onto the 2 Evening Journal Prompts for a Positive & Abundant Mindset

It’s easy for me to stay positive and feel good in the morning and throughout the day while I am busy and have tasks to focus on.

BUT, when the day turns to night, and the workday is over, that’s when the anxiety and worry gremlins creep in.

In fact, I’m the queen of worry about all-the-things right before I go to bed.

To shift from the low-vibe of being a ball of stress, anxiety, and worry, I practice specific rituals in the evening that help me to release the work energy of the day, and go into my evening FEELING GOOD and worry free.

FIRST, I shut my computer down, leave my phone behind, and take my pup Miki for a 30-minute walk.

THEN, sometime before dinner or bedtime I write out 3-5 things for each of the following 2 questions:

1. What are you grateful for?

I do both morning and evening gratitude so that I bookend my day with good feelings AND because there are always things that happen throughout the day, after I finish my morning gratitude, that I am grateful for.

2. What did you love about yourself today?

I learned this question from the book The Code of the Extraordinary Mind by Vishen Lakhiani.

I absolutely love this question because it helps to shift negative self-talk to positive and enforce self-love and self-worth.
