If you’ve been following along, then you know I just moved back to Las Vegas from New Orleans.
Because of this massive interstate move, my life has pretty much been chaos since the beginning of November.
I am very regimented, and I LOVE my routine – daily 2+ mile weighted walk, workout, planned high protein meals+nutrition on point, evening walk with my dog, 14-18k steps per day, in bed before 10pm + 8 hours of sleep.
WELL, all of this has been out the window since November, and it’s been especially chaotic since December 20th when Eric and I moved out of our New Orleans apartment and left Nola to drive cross country to Las Vegas to close on+move into our new home in Vegas.


From December 20th until January 3rd we lived in hotels+an AirBnb and out of our suitcases+cars until our new house was ready for us to close on January 3rd.
As a coach for women over 40, I help my clients create sustainable routines that become their lifestyle and that they can maintain at about 80% even in times of chaos.
It’s important for me to walk the talk even when my life is in complete disarray, like it has been for almost 3 months now.
Even though I wasn’t able to keep up 100% with my fitness+nutrition routine during this cross country move, I aimed for 75-80% so that I didn’t have to start all over in January once we were in the new house.
✅I kept up with my nutrition, prioritized protein, veggies, and fiber, and avoided alcohol & processed sugar
✅I aimed to get 8-10k steps in a day whenever I could
✅I worked out whenever I could, even if it was a scrappy kettlebell workout
❗️Most importantly, I gave myself grace when I couldn’t do one or any of these things because I knew I would have good days and bad days through this process.
Now that we are in the house, I’m excited to get back into my regular routine.
