The Journey: And FINALLY, I write…
“Life is never stagnation. It is a constant movement, unrhythmic movement, as well as constant change. Things live by moving and gain strength as they go.”, Bruce Lee
About 8 months ago, in June 2011, I logged onto WordPress.com and created my blog account. I had solid intentions of beginning to write then, but things kept getting in the way – or I should say, that I LET other things get in the way of my writing. Now, 8 months later, certain things in my life have changed that not only have allowed me to have time but also to have the mental focus to concentrate on the things that I SHOULD have been doing not only for myself but also for my Personal Training and Kettlebell Studio business. In addition, I am actually making the conscious effort to commit to keeping up with writing a blog, as I no longer have room on my “Blog Ideas” list, (a list that I have been keeping for the past 8 months each time an idea pops into my head after reading something or experiencing something within my day and I think, “I should write about THAT!”)… THUS, I must just write and post.
Initially I was inspired to begin writing a blog after I returned from my RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) Certification Training in May 2011. After living through this once-in-a-lifetime experience, I thought, “Now THIS weekend is worth sharing…” — The highs, the lows, the challenges, the confusion, the fear, the exhaustion, the humor and the bonds that were formed that will last a lifetime. The experience not only changed how I train myself and my clients, for the better, but it also helped me to remember why I do what I do for a living… and experiences that have THAT sort of an impact on a person, are worth sharing.
I am now here to write about not only that experience, or shall we call it my Journey as an RKC Instructor, but many other experiences otherwise known as Life’s Journeys – because Life is one grand journey with many little journeys within it…
This blog will also of course feature, all things health, fitness, nutrition, kettlebell/kettlebell training and kung fu/martial arts related. SO, I hope that you will join me on my little journey that is my blog, as we take Life, and a healthy and fit life at that, that is The Grand Journey… ENJOY!
Below are a few snippets of MY Grand Journey of Life thus far…
