NOW, onto the subject of this post, BUILDING YOUR BEST SELF IS A CONSISTENT DAILY PRACTICE…

The other night I was having a conversation with my husband Eric about some people who come to train with me because they want to change an aspect of their physique, nutrition and/or mindset but when it comes down to doing the work, day in, day out, they don’t stick with it for the long term.

What many people don’t realize is that it takes YEARS of consistent daily practice to build one’s best self, leanest, shredded physique, strongest mindset and/or healthiest nutritional habits.

Even then, it STILL takes the work of a consistent daily practice, as it is not a destination, but a journey that is a constant evolving process that must be replayed every time the sun comes up.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. You don’t just suddenly wake up and arrive. Change happens because every day you wake up, you exercise, you make nutritious food choices, and you practice a positive mental script CONSISTENTLY.

I’ve had clients comment that I look the way I do simply because of genetics, or joke that “it must be hard for me to be ripped all the time”, or that I get shit done because that’s just who I am.

NEWS FLASH! I did not wake up like this. I work at it every single day, just like everyone else, but I happen to be good at it because I’ve made it a consistent habit my entire life. BUT that doesn’t mean that it’s easy. I have tough days too.

My body looks the way it does because I’ve been swinging kettlebells for over 10 years, strength training for almost 30 years, and moving my body as an athlete for 40 years from ballet, to kung fu, Iron Maiden, and powerlifting, all while practicing building a strong mindset and dialing in my nutrition year after year.

Are you committed to investing in yourself and to doing the work that it will take to build YOUR best self? Are you ready to become EMPOWERED, take control and to find your inner XENA? Then my EmpowerU strength training, nutrition and mindset online coaching program is for YOU!
