Deadlift Tip: You Have to PUSH to Make it a Strong PULL
LOCK, LOAD, PUSH, PULL! Deadlifts. You have to PUSH to make it a strong PULL.
The deadlift is a lower body pull, BUT you have to PUSH to make it a strong PULL.
- Step 1 LOCK. Lock your lats by packing your shoulders with a corkscrew motion like you are screwing them into their sockets.
- Step 2 LOAD. Load by bracing your abdominals like you are bracing for a punch.
- Step 3 PUSH. Drive your feet into the ground and PUSH the floor away with your feet as you PULL the weight off the ground with your upper body.
- Deadlift
- Two Hand Swing
- Turkish Get Up
- Single Leg Deadlift
- Goblet Squat
- Military Press
- One Hand Swing
- High Pull
